For calling myself a fashion blogger it has been a very long time since I published my last fashion related blogpost. I honestly can’t tell you why I wasn’t posting as frequently as I wanted to on here, without making this a huge life update, but anyways I guess we better get right into the fashion talk. I decided to start a new series on this blog called #trendtalk where I discuss certain trends (only the ones I personally like / wear) and also share my favorite pieces matching this trend with you.
Today I wanted to start with leopard print, at first I wanted to talk about animal print in general but to be honest: I think I only own leopard print pieces. Well I guess that’s already the problem: I ONLY OWN LEOPARD PRINT PIECES, seriously, I think I own at least 20-30 pieces with leopard print. My friends already tried to stop me from buying more leopard print pieces telling me, that I already own too much of this print. But what can I say, I just love it. Never thought I’m going to love this trend that much, when it first started about 1-2 years ago and here I am: thinking about which leo dress to get next.
For today’s look I paired a midi leo dress with some black chunky boots. This is the perfect style break in my opinion to give the look a more edgy / cool touch. Since it’s obviously not summer yet I threw over a cozy knit sweater which shows a bit more of the leo dress because of the v shaped neckline. This also makes it a bit more casual. For the bag I went with a black one with golden details to match the boots. The sunnies are basic Ray Ban sunnies, which I stole a friend of mine, I guess I need to get a pair for myself as well. Due to the wind while I was shooting these pics this might be one of the rare moments you see myself with a ponytail on pictures. But I also think this hairstyle fits the look perfectly since it makes it a bit more chill and not as “put together” if you know what I mean.
