Weekly review #45+46 – Ebner’s Waldhof in Austria

Done this week

The last two weeks finally have been a bit more exciting again, while the first of these weeks started still a bit boring with uni, working out and working, last Tuesday finally something more exciting started. Me and a friend of mine first drove to Munich for a workshop from our university which ended up being a fun stay in Munich mostly because of the other students which where there. On Wednesday morning we left Munich towards Salzburg where we explored the city a little bit before heading to the Ebner’s Waldhof in Fuschl (click) am See in Austria in the afternoon. The hotel kindly invited me to stay there for two days with an accompanying person of my choice. Right after checking into the hotel, a nice woman showed us our room, ok well, room is a little understated. We actually got a 57m2  junior suite, which was bigger than most of the two room apartments in Erlangen. Ive never been in such a big hotel room before and I am super thankful for this experience. After relaxing a little bit we had dinner which was awesome. At the next day we checked out the spa area of the hotel, took plenty of pictures and basically spend the whole day with spa and food. I also took some time for answering mails and some other stuff still I got enough relaxing moments to get some energy back. On Friday we already had to leave this amazing place and head back home one the one hand I was happy to be back home, I honestly missed my cats and the whole repertoire of my closet (I don’t know why but I packed super weird clothes for Austria) but on the other hand I didn’t want to leave this magical place at all.

The whole team at the Ebner’s Waldhof was super nice and friendly and they all did their best to make the stay as comfortable as possible, the food was awesome as well (I was super flashed by the breakfast buffet) and the hotel in general has a lot to offer. It’s a bit confusing to find everything because it’s so big, but they have signs to lead you wherever you want to go, so that’s possible. It’s located right at the Fuschlsee and even though it was super foggy during our stay it was just so pretty. I honestly rarely ever saw such a beautiful nature, just looking at the lake was so relaxing and really calming. I think it’s probably awesome during summer time as well, when you can go swimming in the clear water of the lake, maybe I’ll be back in a few months!
